Biolab Malt Extract Powder is obtained by extracting the solubles from moulted barley, followed by evaporation to dryness. The low temperature drying process ensures the preservation of nitrogenous and carbohydrate constituents. It contains a high percentage of maltose, and is very useful ingredient for the cultivation of yeasts and moulds.
