Now available: The new Safe Lid for the MAS-100 NT^® air sampler

Safe Lid is a disposable, ready-to use alternative to the autoclavable standard perforated lid made from aluminum. It is made of 100% recyclable Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) and comes in 30 individually double-packed and sterilized pieces per package. The Safe Lid has the same sieve configuration as the standard perforated lid with 300 holes of 0.6 mm diameter. This ensures an identical impact velocity of 19.6 m/s and anominal d50 of 1.1 μm. The simplified validation of the recovery rates according to EN 17141 resulted incomparable values for both perforated lids.
