Our hollow silica nanoparticles are precisely engineered spherical particles of silicon dioxide. These particles have a uniform particle size of 500 nm comprised of a porous silica shell, with an average pore size of 40 Å, that surrounds the central hollow cavity. The structure and design of these nanoparticles play a vital role in determining their unique physical characteristics. These properties include low density, a large specific surface area, low dielectric constant, low electrical and thermal conductivity, as well as abnormal light scattering behavior.

應用

Hollow silica nanoparticles (SNPs) are extensively sought after studied for applications across multiple fields, includinga dvanced catalysis, drug-delivery, biomedical applications, environmental remediation applications, wastewater treatment, thermal insulation, and functional coatings. [1] Different studies have used hollow SNPs in drug delivery applications as drug carriers. For example, in one of the studies, it has been found that hollow silica nanoparticles (HSNPs) possess very high loading capacities for Glp-1 and a steady release of Glp-1 from HPSNs of approximately 10% was observed which indicates that HPSNs demonstrate great potential as materials for both protection of Glp-1 from external attack and its long-term release. [2] SNPs can be used for the development of anodes in lithium-ion batteries (LIBs). Studies have found that silicon nanoparticles are capable of high electrochemical performance as an anode material for Lithium-ion batteries performance. [3,4]
