Anti-OPRD1 antibody detects endogenous levels of total OPRD1 protein.
The OPRD1 (opioid receptor δ1) gene is mapped to human chromosome 1p35.3 and encodes for a G-protein-coupled receptor. It is abundantly expressed in peripheral tissues.
Inmunógeno
The antiserum was produced against synthesized peptide derived from human OPRD1.
Immunogen Range: 311-360
Acciones bioquímicas o fisiológicas
OPRD1 (opioid receptor δ1) is associated with cognitive function and mood driven behavior. Anxiolytic and antidepressant actions are brought about when specific agonists bind to the OPRD1 gene. δ-opioid receptor (DOR) is known to be involved in the progression and development of specific tumours (malignant). Upregulation of this gene is observed in breast cancer, and thus, it can serve as an important therapeutic marker.

Opioids are among the most effective analgesics available and are the first choice in the treatment of acute severe pain. However, partial efficacy, a tendency to produce tolerance, and a host of ill-tolerated side effects make clinically available opioids less
Alcoholism arises from combined effects of multiple biological factors including genetic and non-genetic causes with gene/environmental interaction. Intensive research and advanced genetic technology has generated a long list of genes and biomarkers involved in alcoholism neuropathology. These markers reflect complex
δ‑opioid receptor (DOR) belongs to the family of G protein‑coupled receptors (GPCRs). Numerous studies have shown that DOR is widely distributed in human peripheral tissues and is closely related to the development and progression of certain malignant tumours. However, there is controversy in
Aberrant DNA methylation has been observed in the patients with Alzheimer's disease (AD), a common neurodegenerative disorder in the elderly. OPRD1 encodes the delta opioid receptor, a member of the opioid family of G-protein-coupled receptors. In the current study, we
