General description

La membrana de transferencia Immobilon®-P es una membrana microporosa de fluoruro de polivinilideno(PVDF) con un tamaño nominal de poro de 0,45 micras (μm). Se recomienda para inmunoelectrotransferencia (western blot), especialmente para proteínas mayores de 20 kDa. La membrana de transferencia Immobilon®-P puede adsorber una amplia gama de pesos moleculares de proteínas. Se utiliza para la transferencia de proteínas desde una variedad de matrices de gel. En comparación con una membrana de nitrocelulosa, la membrana de PVDF Immobilon-P tiene un cociente señal-ruido más elevado para aumentar las sensibilidades, mejorar las características de manejo y las capacidades de tinción e incrementar la resistencia a los disolventes.
