General description

La membrana de transferencia Immobilon®-FL es una membrana microporosa de fluoruro de polivinilideno (PVDF) con un tamaño nominal de poro de 0,45 μm. Está diseñada para adsorber las proteínas transferidas desde una variedad de matrices de gel. La membrana de transferencia Immobilon®-FL es hidrófoba y ofrece una estructura de poro uniformemente controlada con una gran capacidad de adsorción para biomoléculas. La membrana ofrece una transferencia óptima para proteínas con pesos moleculares superiores a 20 000. La membrana Immobilon®-FL muestra una autofluorescencia muy baja en una amplia gama de longitudes de onda de excitación/emisión. Esta propiedad la hace ideal para aplicaciones de transferencia que implican inmunodetección por fluorescencia. But when using Immobilon PSQ in Western Blotting, it is important to consider that there may be increased background noise, which might require more stringent wash steps to ensure accurate results.

    Great for western blots

    I have been using this product for close to two and half years now. It is a highly reliable PVDF roll for western blotting. I use it to transfer a wide variety of proteins and use HRP conjugated secondary antibodies for imaging bands. The results have always been sharp, reliable and most importantly, reproducible. I shall buy again when we run out.
