General description

110 kDa Observed

The antibody recognizes the CD57 carbohydrate epitope present on several surface molecules. In the nervous system this epitope is particularly prominent on myelin-associated glycoprotein (MAG) (Funaro, 1997). The eptope for TB01 is neuraminidase- and bromelaine-sensitive, but trypsin-resistant (Funaro, 1997).
Anti-CD57, TBO1, was included in the Sixth International Workshop and Conference on Human Leucocyte Differentiation Antigens, and studies by a number of laboratories confirmed its reactivity with CD57 (Funaro, 1997).

Antibody recognizes Human CD57 antigen.

Physical form

Purified Mouse monoclonal IgM conjugated to FITC in 0.05M Tris-HCl buffer with 1% BSA, Sodium Azide at 0.097% at pH 7.2.

Evaluated by flow cytometry using human PBMCs
