Phosphatidylglycerol (PG) is a membrane lipid found in the inner membrane of E. coli.[1]

Aplicación

E. coli PG or L-α-phosphatidylglycerol (E. coli) (sodium salt) might be used:
  • as a lipid antigen to trigger human T cell response[2]
  • as a standard in mass spectrometry (MS) of mammalian cell entry (MCE) proteins bound to phosphatidylglycerol (PG)[3]
  • in bacterial model membranes to evaluate the lipid-lipid interactions and to serve potentially as a model for validation of novel[1]
