IL-17A (interleukin 17A) plays a major role in the pathogenesis of autoimmune diseases like multiple sclerosis and rheumatoid arthritis.[2] It also plays a pathogenic role in allergic rhinitis (AR).[3] It helps in the formation of several chemokines and cytokines in airway epithelial cells.[2]
