Allgemeine Beschreibung

Prochloraz is a fungicide possessing imidazole moiety, which can show anti-androgenic activity in blocking androgens like testosterone from mediating their biological effects in the body.[1] It is involved in the inhibition of cytochrome P450-dependent, 14α-demethylase activity required in the conversion of lanosterol to ergosterol, a key constituent of fungal cell membranes.[1]
