(R)-1-[(SP)-2-(Diphenylphosphino)ferrocenyl]ethyldicyclohexylphosphine ((R,S)-josiphos) is a chiral ferrocenyl diphosphine ligand.[1]

Anwendung

It may be used in the preparation of cyclopentadienyliridium complexes, [IrCl(PP)]2 and [IrCp(PP)]. (Cp= cyclopentadienyl; PP= (R)-1-[(SP)-2-(diphenylphosphino)ferrocenyl]ethyldicyclohexylphosphine)[2]
Rhodium complex of (R)-(S)-JOSIPHOS can be used as a catalyst for the selective asymmetric hydrogenation of:       
  • Z-β-aryl-β-(enamido)phosphonates.[3]     
  •  o-alkoxy tetrasubstituted enamides to yield β-amino alcohol analogs with excellent enantiomeric excess.[4]

If the product quality is sensitive to short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped on wet or dry-ice. If the product quality is NOT affected by short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped at ambient temperature.     1. If this product has an expiration or retest date, it will be shown on the Certificate of Analysis (COA, CofA). If there is no retest or expiration date listed on the product's COA, we do not have suitable stability data to determine a shelf life.
