General description

The Corning cryogenic vials have a 2 mL capacity with round bottom, and have a self-standing design. The black graduations and larger marking spots provide easier filling and sample identification.

Withstand temperatures to -196 °C
Silicone washer for a secure seal
Special base design allows vials to be locked into cryogenic rack and tray for single-handed manipulation
Sterilized by gamma radiation
