Specificity

Recognizes drosophila BMAL1. The immunogen shows no significant sequence homology with mammalian Clock or Per proteins. Significant homology is seen with mammalian USF′s (Upstream Stimulatory Factors 1 and 2) and human and mouse BMAL1 and ARNTs.

SPECIES REACTIVITIES: The immunogen sequence has no homology with mammalian Clock or Per proteins. Reactivity with other species has not been confirmed.

Immunogen

A 22 amino acid peptide of drosophila BMAL1 (Darlington et al. 1998; Rutila et al. 1998; Bae et al. 1998). Gene accession # 3219728.
