If we dilute the stock concentration in PBS, should we continue to store it in 4oC or move it to -20oC? When leaving aliquots of 10 mM stock diluted in 3 mM BSA in PBS, the aliquots precipitated at 4oC, because there's a lower concentration of DMSO.

How is shipping temperature determined? And how is it related to the product storage temperature?

Products may be shipped at a different temperature than the recommended long-term storage temperature. If the product quality is sensitive to short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped on wet or dry-ice. If the product quality is NOT affected by short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped at ambient temperature. As shipping routes are configured for minimum transit times, shipping at ambient temperature helps control shipping costs for our customers. The minimum purity for Oleic acid content is 90% for this product. The potential impurities in the remaining 10% are not identified. However, other fatty acids such as stearic or linoleic are likely present.
