Tapentadol represents the first new drug of the centrally-acting analgesic class approved in the US in more than 25 years. This Snap-N-Spike^® Reference Solution is suitable for many LC/MS or GC/MS applications, including forensic analysis, pharmaceutical analysis, pain prescription monitoring, and urine drug testing.

Application

• Extended-Release Formulation for Chronic Pain: Extended-release formulations of Tapentadol hydrochloride are developed to provide sustained pain relief for chronic conditions. This formulation reduces the frequency of dosing and enhances patient compliance, offering consistent pain management (Faria et al., 2017).
