The term "anhydrous" is used more to distinguish this Calcium oxide product (typically approximately 71 percent Calcium by weight) from Calcium hydroxide (typically approximately 54 percent Calcium by weight).
      The purity value of 99.99 percent is on a trace metals basis. That is, Product 451711 contains AT MOST 0.01 percent or 100 ppm of metals other than Calcium.
