Descrizione generale

È adoperato diffusamente come tampone fisiologico nelle applicazioni in vitro.

Applicazioni

Nonylphenols (NP) are ubiquitous substances that have been detected in highly diverse foodstuff. As breakdown products of nonylphenol ethoxylates, NP could end up in the aquatic environment. This article presents a rapid method for NP detection in surface water by planar solid phase extraction – planar yeast estrogen screen (pSPE-pYES).

Questions

1–2 of 2 Questions
  1. What is the size of his powder?

    1 answer
    1. The particle size of the powder has not been measured.

      Helpful?

  2. What is the shelf life after delivery and opening? Is there usually an impact on quality after 2 years? The color of the medium changed and the pH decreased. Does the solubility or function of sodium bicarbonate decrease as it gets older?

    1 answer
    1. This product is not assigned an expiration date. It is assigned a recommended retest date of approximately 5 years after the quality release date. A recommended retest date is the period of time during which the product is expected to remain within established stability specifications, provided that it has been stored under defined conditions. After the Retest Date, product samples should be examined to ensure that the product is still in compliance with the established specifications. For more information, you may access the "Product Dating Information" document under "ADDITIONAL USEFUL DOCUMENTS ABOUT OUR PRODUCTS" at the bottom of the Quality Services page with this link: https://www.sigmaaldrich.com/US/en/life-science/quality-and-regulatory-management/quality-services.

After opening, various factors may influence the performance of the product. Moisture uptake and cross-contamination are common issues that are dependent on product handling and storage. If the product you are using is experience stability issues before the recommended restest date, this reporting should be investigated by our Technical Service team who can assist you with further troubleshooting and/or investigation. We kindly ask you to navigate to the link https://www.sigmaaldrich.com/techservice, click on "Report Product Issues" under the Products Section with all the required information so that a member of our team can reach out to you to assist further.
