Il filtro di sfiato con trappola per CO2 è progettato per proteggere da possibili contaminanti ambientali l′acqua pura molto sensibile conservata. Questi includono biossido di carbonio, particelle, microrganismi e composti volatili organici che provengono principalmente dall′atmosfera del laboratorio.

Quando il biossido di carbonio si dissolve nell′acqua forma bicarbonato e ioni carbonato. Questa reazione provoca un incremento del contenuto di ioni nell′acqua pura e ne compromette la qualità. Il filtro di sfiato riduce significativamente la penetrazione nel serbatoio della contaminazione ionica e organica dall′atmosfera.

Per risutati ottimali, il filtro di sfiato deve essere sostituito una volta all′anno.

Applicazioni

Da utilizzare con serbatoi di stoccaggio SDS con acqua pura.

Caratteristiche e vantaggi

  • Il carbone attivo adsorbe i composti organici volatili.
  • Un letto di calce sodata rimuove il biossido di carbonio.
  • Un filtro a membrana trattiene particelle e batteri.
  • Il filtro di sfiato si installa con facilità nel supporto integrato sul lato anteriore del serbatoio SDS.

    1. Recommended storage conditions: temperatures from 5 to 30°C; humidity between 10 and 80%. The original sealed bag (if provided) must be kept intact before the first use to protect the purification element from foreign matter.

  7. If I have a final filter that I use only occasionally (e.g., Biopak®) and have another filter (e.g. Millipak®) that I most of the time, can I keep the 'occasional-use' filter for use again at a later time?

    1. It is not possible to re-use a filter that has been used and then removed because air intake during replacement creates an airlock and blocks water passing through the filter. If you regularly need two different filters, we recommend using two POD dispensers.

  8. Can consumables be opened and refilled?

    1. Unfortunately, this is not possible because of safety issues and the need to guarantee the quality of consumables and their interior purification components. Our consumables are manufactured in an ISO 9001-certified facility France in agreement with high quality standards.

  9. How frequently do the various consumables need to be changed?

    1. The frequency that consumables must be changed depends on the system's usage (treated water volume) and on the consumables themselves (time of usage). In order to ensure the quality of water and your results, the consumables should be replaced when the system alerts you.
