Descrizione generale

Domiphen bromide (DMP) is a quaternary ammonium compound that belongs to the class of phenol ethers. It can be used as a cationic surfactant.[1] [2]

Applicazioni

  • Domiphen Bromide in Antimicrobial Applications: A clinical trial assessed the effectiveness of a mouthwash containing Domiphen Bromide among other quaternary ammonium compounds, showcasing its ability to significantly reduce gingivitis, supporting its use in dental health products (Rosa and Sturzenberger, 1976).
