Description générale

Cette lampe UV de photo-oxydation est une lampe de rechange adaptée aux systèmes Milli-Q®. Grâce à son action photo-oxydante, elle dégrade les molécules organiques en espèces inorganiques. Sa double longueur d'onde permet la formation de radicaux hydroxyle (OH), espèce clé dans le processus d'oxydation. Les contaminants organiques sont oxydés en acides organiques chargés et en CO2, lequel se combine avec l'eau pour créer des ions carbonate et bicarbonate. Les ions ainsi formés sont retenus par les résines échangeuses d'ions à lit mélangé situées en aval de la lampe UV. Cette lampe UV de photo-oxydation est conçue pour les systèmes de purification d'eau Milli-Q® Advantage A10/Direct/Element/Integral/Reference.

Application

L'eau traitée avec cette lampe UV présente une faible teneur en contaminants organiques ; elle peut ainsi être utilisée dans toutes les applications sensibles aux composés organiques (HPLC…).

  1. Is this the correct uv lamp to use for direct 8 model of DI system? On screen it is calling for replacement of uv 254 nm lamp. Want to ensure I am ordering the correct part.

  2. What are the storage conditions for this product?

    1. Recommended storage conditions: temperatures from 5 to 30°C; humidity between 10 and 80%. The original sealed bag (if provided) must be kept intact before the first use to protect the purification element from foreign matter.

  6. Can I change the UV lamp myself?

    1. No. With the exception of our SMART system range, a field service engineer must change the UV lamp as this process can be dangerous for customers and requires special protective equipment.

  7. How frequently do the various consumables need to be changed?

    1. The frequency that consumables must be changed depends on the system's usage (treated water volume) and on the consumables themselves (time of usage). In order to ensure the quality of water and your results, the consumables should be replaced when the system alerts you.
