Prinzip

The intensity of color, measured at A570 nm, is directly proportional to the hemoglobin concentration in the sample. The optimized formulation substantially reduces interference by substances in the raw samples.

Is the use of MAK455 with a diluted whole blood sample suitable?

As long as the diluted samples maintain a hemoglobin content above the detection limit of the kit (0.2g/dL), the kit should function effectively.When the dilution factor of the samples is known, adjusting the calculated concentration by multiplying it with the dilution factor according to the protocol should yield the correct hemoglobin concentration in the samples.
