Beschreibung

General description

Ein zellpermeabler Inhibitor der Einleitung der Apoptose (IC₅₀ = 67 µg/ml in durch FasL stimulierten WC8-Zellen, 130 µg/ml in durch Etoposid stimulierten U937-Zellen). Die Wirkungen sind der Hemmung der Caspase-3-Aktivierung zuzuschreiben. Caspase-3 wird jedoch selbst bei 1 mg/ml nicht direkt gehemmt.

Ein zellpermeables Bis(Cyclohexan-1,3-diketon), das die Einleitung der Apoptose in durch FasL stimulierten WC8-Zellen (IC₅₀ = 67 µg/ml) und durch Etoposid stimulierten U937-Zellen (IC₅₀ = 130 µg/ml) hemmt. Die antiapoptotische Wirkung ist der Hemmung der Caspase-3-Aktivierung (IC₅₀ = 334 nmol/l) zuzuschreiben, jedoch findet keine direkte Hemmung der Caspase-3-Enzymaktivität statt. Hemmt erhöhte Werte der Leberenzyme Alaninaminotransferase und Aspartataminotransferase in einem Mausmodell von durch Anti-Fas eingeleiteter Hepatitis. Die topische Anwendung reduziert die durch Chemotherapie eingeleitete Alopezie (Haarausfall) bei neugeborenen Ratten.
