Informações sobre genes

human ... CAMKK1(84254)

Descrição geral

Calcium/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase kinase 1 (CAMKK1) is a member of the serine/threonine-protein kinase family. The CAMKK1 gene is mapped to human chromosome 17p13.2. It is expressed in the brain, as well as in the thymus and spleen.

Imunogênio

CAMKK1 (AAH31647, 1 a.a. ~ 520 a.a) full-length recombinant protein with GST tag. MW of the GST tag alone is 26 KDa.

Ações bioquímicas/fisiológicas

Calcium/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase 1 (CAMKK1) participates in the calcium/calmodulin-dependent (CaM) kinase cascade. It phosphorylates CAMK1 at threonine 177. Functionally, the members of the CAMKKs family are involved in neurite development, long-term memory (LTM), and axon elongation.

forma física

Solution in phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4
