Descrição geral

Receptor interacting serine/threonine kinase 1 (RIPK1) gene is located at 6p25.2 on the human chromosome. It belongs to the RIPK family. RIPK1 is a necroptosis regulatory protein. It is made up of N-terminal kinase domain, a RIP homotypic interaction motif and its C-terminal contains the death domain.

Imunogênio

RIPK1 antibody was raised against a 15 amino acid peptide from near the amino terminus of human RIPK1.

Aplicação

Anti-RIPK1 antibody produced in rabbit has been used in:
  • western blotting
  • immunocytochemistry
  • immunofluorescence

Ações bioquímicas/fisiológicas

Receptor interacting serine/threonine kinase 1 (RIPK1) is involved in inflammatory signaling and prosurvival. It is also involved in regulating the caspase-8-mediated apoptosis. RIPK1 plays a role in activating nuclear factor kappa-light-chain-enhancer of activated B cells (NF-κB) and mitogen-activated protein (MAP) kinases. Mutations in this gene is associated with impaired innate and adaptive immunity. It also leads to very early onset inflammatory bowel diseases (VEO-IBDs).
Receptor interacting serine/threonine kinase 1 (RIPK1) modulates cell survival and death. It also has a role in inflammation.
