Focal adhesion kinase (FAK) is a cytoplasmic protein that belongs to non-receptor protein tyrosine kinase family. It has a critical role in regulation of cell differentiation, migration, adhesion and acceleration of the G1 to S phase transition in cell cycle[1][2]. Anti-phospho-FAK (pTyr397) antibody can be used in immunocytochemistry and immunohistochemistry. Rabbit anti- phospho-FAK (pTyr397) antibody reacts specifically with FAK (125kD) phosphorylated at tyrosine 397. This product can also react with FAK (pTyr397) of rat, chicken, frog, mouse and human.
