Dexamethasone is a corticosteroid medication, with anti-inflammatory activity.[1] It is widely used for inflammatory ocular conditions[2] and for the treatment of skin-allergic reactions.[1]

Aplicação

Dexamethasone may be used as a pharmaceutical reference standard for the quantification of the analyte in pharmaceutical formulations[1][2] using voltammentric techniques[1] and reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatography technique.[2]
