Description générale
Peroxidase Protective Buffer is a diluent formulated to stabilize the activity of Chemicon horseradish peroxidase (HRP)-antibody conjugates at high conjugate dilution for extended periods.
Application
USE:
Chemicon HRP conjugated antibodies may be diluted up to 1:16,000 in Peroxidase Protective Buffer. Diluted conjugates are stable for at least 3 months when stored at 2 - 8oC. The buffer is suitable for direct use in ELISA. It is recommended that the HRP conjugated antibody is diluted with Peroxidase Protective Buffer and allowed to stand for 24 hours at 2-8°C to attain constant stability before use.
Peroxidase Protective Buffer is compatible with blocking agents such as skim milk powder, Tween 20 and normal serum. However HRP conjugates should not be stored in the presence of these blocking agents. They should be added just prior to use in the assay.

Forme physique
Peroxidase Protective Buffer contains 0.5% (w/v) bovine serum albumin, antimicrobial preservatives and stabilizing compounds in phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.2.
Stockage et stabilité
Store at +2 to +8°C, for up to 6 months.
PRECAUTIONS
HRP conjugates should be diluted and stored under clean conditions to reduce the level of microbial challenge.
Sodium azide must NOT be added to Peroxidase Protective Buffer.
Avoid contamination of HRP conjugate solutions with heavy metal ions, aromatic chlorocarbons or hypochlorous acids. Avoid containers made of soda glass or polystyrene. Storage of diluted conjugates in borosilicate glass is recommended.
Efficient washing steps should follow HRP conjugate incubations. In ELISA, at least four thorough wash cycles are recommended.
