Description générale

Amphetamine, a stimulant of the phenethylamine class, is found in ADHD-treatment drugs such as Adderall®, Vyvanse®, and ProCentra®. Because of its stimulant effect, amphetamine is used recreationally as a performance-enhancer and illicit drug. This stable-labeled internal standard is suitable for quantitation of amphetamine levels in urine, serum, or plasma by LC/MS or GC/MS for urine drug testing, clinical toxicology, forensic analysis, or sports testing.

Application


  • Development of a certified reference material: An SI-traceable N-terminal pro-B-type natriuretic peptide certified reference material was developed using structure-based impurity-corrected isotope dilution mass spectrometry approaches, which is applicable to improving the accuracy of biomarker measurements in clinical diagnostics (Xiao et al., 2024).

  • Advanced materials for bone regeneration: Research on large-scale self-mineralizing bone organoids used bone matrix-inspired hydroxyapatite hybrid bioinks, enhancing the potential of 3D bioprinting technologies for regenerative medicine and providing a foundation for further studies on biomaterials and tissue engineering (Wang et al., 2024).

  • Predictive models in prenatal care: A deep learning model was developed to predict renal anomalies in prenatal ultrasound diagnostics, demonstrating the utility of AI in enhancing diagnostic accuracy and early intervention strategies in maternal-fetal medicine (Miguel et al., 2024).

  • Environmental technology for pollution control: Lignin nanoparticles were explored as an efficient adsorbent for the removal of methylene blue from aqueous media, showing promise for applications in water treatment and environmental cleanup efforts (Pourbaba et al., 2024).
