General description
L-α-Phosphatidylcholin (PC) ist ein asymmetrisches Molekül mit einem Glyzeringerüst und kommt im Lecithin von Eiweiß natürlich vor. Es ist ein Phospholipid und eine wichtige Cholinquelle in Säugetierzellen. Es ist unverzichtbar für die Sekretion von Lipoproteinen mit sehr niedriger Dichte in Hepatozyten. Es ist wichtig für die Funktionen der Acetylcholin-Synthese zur Ernährung des Gehirns. PC spielt eine entscheidende Rolle im Lipid- und Lipoprotein-Stoffwechsel. Ein Mangel an Enzymen des PC-Biosynthesewegs verursacht eine Reihe von Stoffwechselstörungen. Änderungen am intrazellulären Verhältnis von PC und Phosphatidylethanolamin (PE) in der Leber tragen zur Pathophysiologie der nichtalkoholischen Fettlebererkrankung (NAFLD) bei. Es hat entzündungshemmende Funktion und ist wirkungsvoll bei der Behandlung von entzündlicher Darmerkrankung. Eine Verabreichung von PC ist effektiv für die Behandlung von gutartiger symmetrischer Lipomatose.

L-α-Phosphatidylcholin hat folgende Anwendungen:
- Herstellung von Liposomen
- Bestandteil der Stabilisatorenlösung für die Herstellung von verteilten Curcuminoid-Submikronpartikeln (CSP)
- Bestandteil eines serumfreien Ersatzes für Vollblutzellen

The phase transition temperature of this product has not been determined. Note that R and R' are variable fatty acid residues that could vary by lot and thereby cause a lot-to-lot variation in phase transition temperature.

Products may be shipped at a different temperature than the recommended long-term storage temperature. If the product quality is sensitive to short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped on wet or dry-ice. If the product quality is NOT affected by short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped at ambient temperature.
