What is the known total lipid content of this analytical lard oil standard? Or is there any documentation on fatty acid or triglyceride content for this substance?

  This product is not tested for use as an analytical standard. This material is of porcine origin, however, the total lipid content is not determined. A previous porcine lard oil product, which is no longer available, was primarily made up of oleic acid (53 %), palmitic acid (21 %), linoleic acid (10 %), and steric acid (4-5 %). This product may have a similar profile. The free fatty acids content is listed on the lot-specific certificate of analysis.
