Anwendung

Anti-DSCR4 antibody produced in rabbit, a Prestige Antibody, is developed and validated by the Human Protein Atlas (HPA) project . Each antibody is tested by immunohistochemistry against hundreds of normal and disease tissues. These images can be viewed on the Human Protein Atlas (HPA) site by clicking on the Image Gallery link. Biochem./physiol. Wirkung

Down syndrome critical region protein-4 (DSCR4) promoter is shown to be a fetal epigenetic marker for noninvasive prenatal detection of chromosomal aberration trisomy 21. DSCR4 promoter is hypomethylated in placental and densely methylated in maternal blood cells. However, unmethylated DSCR4 can be identified in the first-trimester maternal plasma.
