Anwendung

Anti-IFIT2 antibody produced in rabbit, a Prestige Antibody, is developed and validated by the Human Protein Atlas (HPA) project . Each antibody is tested by immunohistochemistry against hundreds of normal and disease tissues. These images can be viewed on the Human Protein Atlas (HPA) site by clicking on the Image Gallery link. Interferon-induced protein with tetratricopeptide repeats 2 or IFIT2 is a protein encoded by the IFIT2 gene in humans. It is one of the most highly responsive interferon-stimulated genes and is responsible for interferon stimulation. It may play an important role in inhibiting cell migration. The protein may help in preventing oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) metastasis and may serve as a valuable prognostic marker. It negatively regulates eIF3 protein complex and inhibits translation initiation.[1]
