Chromosome and tumourigenicity studies

Biochem/physiol Actions

A chronic myelogenous leukaemia cell line with a Philadelphia chromosome. The cells are morphologically characteristic of basophils.

Human myelogenous leukaemia

Preparation Note

Maintain cultures between 3-9x100,000 cells/ml; 5% CO₂; 37°C.

RPMI 1640 + 2mM Glutamine + 10% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS).
