Carbonylcyanid-3-chlorphenylhydrazon (CCCP) hat folgende Anwendungen:
- Hemmung der Effluxpumpe bei klinischer Pseudomonas aeruginosa
- Hemmung der oxidativen Phosphorylierung der Mitochondrien in menschlichen Beas-2B-Epithelzellen der Bronchien
- Herstellung einer Carbonylcyanid-m-chlorphenylhydrazon-Lösung für oxidative und mitochondriale Stresstests und eine Induktion der Mitophagie bei Caenorhabditis elegans
Biochem/physiol Actions
Carbonylcyanid-3-chlorphenylhydrazon (CCCP) induziert die Mitophagie in Säugetierzellen. CCCP unterdrückt die Expression nur weniger Proteine der Elektronentransportkette (ETC-Proteine). Protonophor (H+ Ionophor) und Entkoppler der oxidativen Phosphorylierung in Mitochondrien. Eine Reihe von Auswirkungen auf zelluläres Calcium wurde nachgewiesen. Hemmt die Sekretion von hepatischer Lipase und teilweise die pH-Gradienten-aktivierte Cl- Aufnahme sowie Cl-/Cl- Austauschaktivitäten in Bürstensaum-Membranvesikeln.
