Biochem/physiol Actions

LMAN2 (Lectin, mannose-binding 2) gene encodes a type I transmembrane lectin protein localized in endoplasmic reticulum, the Golgi apparatus and the plasma membrane. It plays a pivotal role in sorting, trafficking and quality control of secretory proteins and/or lipids.[1]
