Application
Biotin-konjugiertes Rinderserumalbumin bindet selektiv an verschiedene vaskuläre Untergruppen von lymphatischen Geweben, wie mit fluoreszenten und enzymhistochemischen Verfahren nachgewiesen wurde, und kann daher als histochemische Sonde für die Identifizierung ausgewählter mikrovaskulärer Endothelzellen in lymphatischen Geweben verwendet werden.
Biotin-konjugiertes Rinderserumalbumin bindet selektiv an verschiedene vaskuläre Untergruppen von lymphatischen Geweben, wie mit fluoreszenten und enzymhistochemischen Verfahren nachgewiesen wurde, und kann daher als histochemische Sonde für die Identifizierung ausgewählter mikrovaskulärer Endothelzellen in lymphatischen Geweben verwendet werden. In der Milz bindet Biotin-BSA an die Sinus der roten Pulpa, nicht aber an Gefäße der weißen Pulpa (einschließlich der zentralen Arteriole) oder an den Marginalsinus. Im Thymus war ausgeprägtes Binden auf die Kapillargefäße des kortikomedullären Bereichs beschränkt.
Biotin-markiertes Rinderalbumin wird als Bestandteil von Experimenten mit Myosin-V zur Bestimmung der Prozessivität verwendet. Außerdem wird es genutzt, um NeutrAdivin-Beschichtungen mit Biotin-Markierungen zu versehen und bei der Präparation von TGT-Oberflächen eine nicht-spezifische Zelladhäsion zu unterdrücken.
