General description
Rekombinantes Konstrukt mit N-terminaler Entfernung von Asp. Strukturell äquivalent zu dem nativen Albumin, ermittelt durch Röntgenkristallographie. Die N-terminale Asp ist die wichtigste Chelatbildungsstelle für Cu2+ und Ni2+; ihre Entfernung eliminiert eine wichtige antigene Determinante, und das Protein ist hypoallergen. Ebenfalls an Cys34 blockiert, um Stabilität, Monomergehalt und Homogenität zu verbessern.

Albumine sind lösliche, monomere Proteine, die ??in den Körperflüssigkeiten und Geweben von Tieren und in einigen Pflanzensamen vorkommen. Serumalbumin wirkt als Trägerprotein für Steroide, Fettsäuren und Schilddrüsenhormone. Serumalbumine sind auch bei der Regulierung des kolloidosmotischen Drucks von Blut von entscheidender Bedeutung.

Lösung in phosphatgepufferter Kochsalzlösung, enthält 4 mM Natriumcaprylat und 4 mM N-Acetyltryptophan.

This recombinant protein contains 584 amino acid residues (66,357 Dalton) derived from the prototypical human serum albumin sequence, Gene Bank Accession No. M12523, with a single deletion of the N-terminal residue (Asp). The N-terminal deletion of the Asp reduces the affinity by which nickel and copper bind to the protein. Otherwise, the biological properties are identical as for the full-length protein.
