General description

Added to Basal Medium to create Growth Medium
Human endothelial cell growth supplement is added to the basal medium to create growth medium. The complete growth medium (equivalent to Cat# 211-500) is optimized and best-suited for angiogenesis and other physiological studies.

Application

Endothelial Cell Growth Supplement (15ml) has been used as a supplement for culturing:
  • human type II alveolar cells
  • human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVEC)
  • human pulmonary artery endothelial cells (HPAECs)

  1. For HUVEC culture Should I add 15 ml of supplement directly to 500 ml of medium? Or Should I remove 15 ml of medium (from the original bottle) and replace this 15 ml with 15 ml of supplement?

    1. Complete Endothelial Cell Growth Medium is prepared by adding 15 mL of Growth Medium Supplements to 485 mL of Basal Medium.

      rhEGF
      hydrocortisone
