Beschreibung

Application

Pyrogallol wird bei der Herstellung des Endothelzellextrakts zum Nachweis des Vitamin-E-Gehalts mittels Umkehrphasen-HPLC verwendet.[1] Des Weiteren wird es zur Herstellung von Leberextrakten für die Retinolanalyse mittels HPLC verwendet.[2]

Biochem/physiol Actions

Pyrogallol – auch als 1,2,3-Trihydroxybenzol bezeichnet – hemmt die Reaktion auf Stickoxid (NO) im Anococcygeus-Muskel von Ratten.[3]
