General description
Application
- Chlortrimethylsilan kann eine ungiftige Alternative zu Quecksilberchlorid als Aktivator bei der Samarium-geförderten Cyclopropanierung von Allyl- und α-Allenalkoholen sein.
- Es kann in Kombination mit Hexamethyldisilazan zum Schutz von Alkoholen durch Bildung von Trimethylsilylethern über Silylierung verwendet werden.
- Es wird bei der Chlormethylierung von Polysulfonen (PSU) eingesetzt.
- Es aktiviert Lithiumhydrid, um es in eine Hydridquelle für die reduktive Silylierung von Carbonylverbindungen umzuwandeln.
- Chlortrimethylsilan/Lithiumbromid bildet ein wirksames Reagenz für die Umwandlung von Alkoholen in Bromide.
- Chlortrimethylsilan/Natriumjodid in Acetonitril ist eine bessere Alternative zu Jodtrimethylsilan für die Spaltung von Estern, Lactonen, Carbamaten und Ethern. Es kann auch für die Umwandlung von Alkoholen in Jodide verwendet werden.
- Chlortrimethylsilan bildet zusammen mit Silber- oder Ammoniumnitrat ein effizientes regioselektives Nitrierungsreagenz für die Ipso-Nitrierung von Arylboronsäuren zur Bildung der entsprechenden Nitroarene.
- Chlortrimethylsilan kann zusammen mit Natriumnitrit oder -nitrat für Desoximierungsreaktionen verwendet werden.

How is shipping temperature determined? And how is it related to the product storage temperature?

Products may be shipped at a different temperature than the recommended long-term storage temperature. If the product quality is sensitive to short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped on wet or dry-ice. If the product quality is NOT affected by short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped at ambient temperature. As shipping routes are configured for minimum transit times, shipping at ambient temperature helps control shipping costs for our customers.
