General description
2-Nitrobenzaldehyde semicarbazone is a semicarbazone derivative of 2-Nitrobenzaldehyde.
Application
2-Nitrobenzaldehyde semicarbazone (2-NBA-SC) may be used as an analytical reference standard for the determination of 2-NBA-SC in:
- Animal muscle tissues by solid-phase extraction (SPE) and high performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (HPLC-MS/MS) equipped with electrospray ionization (ESI) source and multiple reaction monitoring (MRM) detection.
- Milk of dairy cows by LC-MS/MS with selected reaction monitoring (SRM) detection.
- Azodicarbonamide-treated flour samples by isotope dilution liquid chromatography coupled to ESI-LC-MS/MS.[1]
- Shrimp dosed with nitrofurans by ESI-LC-MS/MS with SRM detection.
