Application
Durch eine Millipak® 40 Filtereinheit gefiltertes Reinwasser kann für alle Laborarbeiten, bei denen Wasser frei von Bakterien und/oder Partikeln benötigt wird, verwendet werden.
Features and Benefits
- Millipak® Membranfilter werden mit Durapore® PVDF-Membranen hergestellt, um hohe Fließraten und Durchsätze, geringe Anteile extrahierbarer Substanzen und eine weitreichende chemische Kompatibilität zu bieten.
- Die Membran wird durch eine starre, mit Kanälen versehene Kunststoffscheibe gestützt, die hohe Fließraten und Beständigkeit gegen Druckschwankungen ohne Gefahr von Membranrissen gewährleistet.
- Millipak® Membranfilter sind in einem besonderen Stacked-Disk-Format ausgelegt, das ein minimales Rückhaltevolumen und Partikelabscheidung ermöglicht.
- Er wird an der Entnahmestelle von Wasseraufbereitungssystemen wie den POD-Entnahmeeinheiten von Milli-Q® Systemen installiert.
- Die Glocke schützt gegen das Eindringen von luftübertragenen Bakterien während der Wasserentnahme.
- Sorgenfreie Wartung: Der Filter kann leicht installiert und ausgetauscht werden.

Dieses Produkt enthält eine Durapore® Membran, die den Richtlinien für „nicht faserabgebende“ Filter gemäß 21 CFR 210.3 (b) (6) entspricht.

Recommended storage conditions: temperatures from 5 to 30°C; humidity between 10 and 80%. The original sealed bag (if provided) must be kept intact before the first use to protect the purification element from foreign matter.

How frequently do the various consumables need to be changed?

The frequency that consumables must be changed depends on the system's usage (treated water volume) and on the consumables themselves (time of usage). In order to ensure the quality of water and your results, the consumables should be replaced when the system alerts you.

If I have a final filter that I use only occasionally (e.g., Biopak®) and have another filter (e.g. Millipak®) that I most of the time, can I keep the 'occasional-use' filter for use again at a later time?

It is not possible to re-use a filter that has been used and then removed because air intake during replacement creates an airlock and blocks water passing through the filter. If you regularly need two different filters, we recommend using two POD dispensers.

Can consumables be opened and refilled?

Unfortunately, this is not possible because of safety issues and the need to guarantee the quality of consumables and their interior purification components. Our consumables are manufactured in an ISO 9001-certified facility France in agreement with high quality standards.
