Beschreibung

General description

Eine zellpermeable Pyrimidinylmethyl-Pyrimidinon-Verbindung, die als starker, reversibler und nicht konkurrierender GPR40-Antagonist fungiert. Blockiert selektiv die GPR40-vermittelte intrazelluläre Ca²⁺-Freisetzung, die durch den GPR40-Agonisten GW9508 (Best.-Nr. <;A href=" http://www.emdbiosciences.com/products/EMD_BIO-371706">;371706<;/A>;) und Linolsäure (pIC₅₀ von 5,99 in GPR40-exprimierenden HEK293-Zellen) stimuliert wird, ohne die GPR120-vermittelte Aktivierung zu beeinträchtigen. Sorgt für eine signifikante Umkehr der durch GW9508 potenzierten Glucose-induzierten Insulinsekretion und mindert die Wirkung von Linolsäure in MIN6-Zellen nur teilweise.
