Beschreibung

General description

Ein potenter Breitspektrum Hydroxamsäure-Inhibitor von Matrix-Metallproteinasen (MMP). Hemmt MMP in-vitro [K_i = 0,4 nM für Hautfibroblasten-Kollagenase (MMP-1), K_i = 0,5 nM für Gelatinase A (MMP-2), K_i = 27 nM für Stromelysin (MMP-3), K_i = 0,1 nM für Neutrophilen-Kollagenase (MMP-8) und K_i = 0,2 nM für Gelatinase B (MMP-9)]. Verhindert auch die Freisetzung von TNF-α; in-vivo und in-vitro und hebt die durch Endotoxin induzierte Letalität in Mäusen auf.
