Beschreibung

General description

Eine zellpermeable Aminopyrimidin-Verbindung, die als hochwirksamer, potenter, ATP-kompetitiver und stark selektiver GSK-3-Inhibitor wirkt (IC₅₀ = 10 und 6,7 nM gegen GSK-3α bzw. GSK-3β). Zeigt geringe oder keine Wirkung auf 46 andere Enzyme (IC₅₀ > 8,8 µM gegen 20 Kinasen und K_i ≥ 5 µM gegen 23 Nicht-Kinase-Enzyme) und nur schwache Bindung an 22 pharmakologisch relevante Rezeptoren (K_d ~4 µM). Diese Verbindung ist oral verfügbar und verbessert nachweislich sowie auf effektive Weise den Glucosemetabolismus in Typ-2-Diabetesmodellen in vivo bei Mäusen und Ratten. Die Festform dieser Verbindung (Katalog-Nr. 361559) ist ebenfalls erhältlich.
