General description

Purospher^® STAR RP-18 endcapped, 3 µm HPLC columns are designed for universal use and allow the separation of basic, neutral, and metal chelating compounds with simple mobile phases and excellent peak symmetry. They are based on ultra-pure fully porous silica particles (Type B). These columns offer an outstanding stability from pH 1.5 to 10.5 over a wide temperature range, and suitability for up to 100% aqueous mobile phases. Plus, they demonstrate best all-round retention characteristics, as proven by the Tanaka test. The Purospher^® STAR RP-18 endcapped, 3 µm LiChroCART^™ 55-2 cartridge set contains a Purospher^® STAR RP-18 endcapped, 3 µm LiChroCART^™ 55-2 cartridge column and a manuCART^™ 55 mm cartridge column holder part number 1.50226.0001. LiChroCART^™ cartridge columns mounted with a manuCART^™ cartridge column holder is hand-tight only and has therefore a maximum pressure stability of 250 bar. The column dimension of 55 mm length x 2 mm I.D. is the optimal choice for fast HPLC separations at lower flow rate, allowing significant solvent savings and improved sensitivity. Application

Intended to be used in the separation of aflatoxins, aldehydes, alkaloids, antibiotics, catecholamines, explosives, oligonucleotides, esters, fat soluble vitamins, lipids, fatty acids, flavonoids, ketones, nitrosamines, nucleosides, PAHs, PCBs, peptides, pesticides, phenols, phthalates, preservatives, steroids, metabolized steroids, sulfonamides, sweeteners, and water soluble vitamins.
