Application
- Benzannulierte Pyrrolizidinalkaloide und Indolizidine mittels SmI2-induzierten Zyklisierungen von Indol-Derivaten
- Chirale 4-substituierte 2-Oxazolidinone und 5,5-disubstituierte Oxazolidinone mittels asymmetrischer Reaktion nach Reformatsky
- γ-Aminoalkyl-substituierte γ-Butyrolactone mittels Ketyl-Alken-Kopplungsreaktion.
Es kann ferner wie folgt eingesetzt werden:
- Reduktion von konjugierten Doppel- und Dreifachbindungen zu Alkenen unter Verwendung von SmI2-/H2O-/Amin-Mischungen
- Umwandlung von β-Hydroxyketonen in 1,3-Diole mittels SmI2/H2O/Et3N
- Selektive Reduktion von 6-gliedrigen Lactonen zu den entsprechenden Diolen/Triolen unter Verwendung eines SmI2-H2O-Reagenzsystems
SmI2 ist ein wirkungsvolles Ein-Elektron-Reduktionsmittel, das die Keton-Olefin- und Pinakol-Kupplungsreaktionen sowie Ketyl-Aryl-Zyklisierungen unter milden Bedingungen begünstigt. Häufig verlaufen intramolekulare wie intermolekulare Kupplungen in stark stereoselektiver Weise. Es wird auch bei der Synthese von neuen heteroleptischen Samarium-Aryloxid/Cyclopentadienid-Komplexen verwendet.

How is shipping temperature determined? And how is it related to the product storage temperature?

Products may be shipped at a different temperature than the recommended long-term storage temperature. If the product quality is sensitive to short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped on wet or dry-ice. If the product quality is NOT affected by short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped at ambient temperature. As shipping routes are configured for minimum transit times, shipping at ambient temperature helps control shipping costs for our customers.
