Application
Nitrous oxide is a gas that is colourless, odourless, and narcotic. It is also an oxidizing and liquefied gas that is heavier than air. Applications include use as the following: an oxidizing agent in atomic absorption spectrometry (AAS), oxidizer in rocket propellants, anesthetic in medical fields, propellant for whipped cream (food industries), and ultra-high purity for oxidizing and etching gas in semiconductor industries. Gas is easy to handle in a small, light pressure can, while the disposable container allows for aluminium recycling when finished.
