General description
Application
- Development of a three immunoassay— indirect competitive ELISA, colloidal gold strip, and AuNFs-based strip, to determine lactoferrin in real cow milk samples using an IgG secreted by hybridoma LF8
- Determination of bovine lactoferrin in milk and milk product samples by a validated competitive enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) based method
- Quantification of lactoferrin in dairy products by immunoaffinity magnetic purification combined with high-performance liquid chromatography-fluorescence (HPLC-FL) detection
- Quantitative analysis of bovine lactoferrin in sterilized milk, modified milk, fermented milk, infant formula, adult formula, rice cereal, vitamin function drink, and protein powder samples by HPLC coupled with diode array detection (DAD)
- Development and validation of a liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) based assay for the measurement of bovine lactoferrin in infant formulae samples
Features and Benefits
- Balances and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) traceable weights are calibrated by ISO 17025 accredited vendors.
- The material has undergone comprehensive identification and characterization using various analytical methods.
- Long-term stability has been evaluated under freezer storage conditions (-10 °C to -25 °C).
Preparation Note
- Weigh the material before use.
- Determine the amount to be weighed using the certified property value.
- The material is hygroscopic, so minimize moisture exposure during weighing.
- A minimum sample size of 20 mg is recommended for quantitative applications.
- If a smaller sample size is used, increase the uncertainty by a factor of 2.
