A non Ig-secreting, HAT sensitive, 6-thioguanine resistant, human B lymphocyte. Derived from the parent line WIL2.NS (Sigma Catalogue number. 90112121).
Application
Immortalising antigen-stimulated human B-lymphocytes by somatic hybridisation
Culture Medium
RPMI 1640 + 2mM Glutamine + 10% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS).
Subculture Routine
Maintain cultures between 5x1,000-5x10,000 cells/ml; 5% CO2; 37°C.
